About Me

This is the website of freelance sports journalist and copywriter, Aaron Bower. Since starting my career in 2012, I’ve interviewed some of the biggest names in sport, and have a particular standing within Rugby League. There, I’ve covered Super League Grand Final events, Challenge Cup events and even worked extensively at the World Cup last year for League Express, Britain’s largest and best-selling rugby paper.

I’ve interviewed the likes of Australia captain Cameron Smith, England head coach Steve McNamara and all of Super League’s top stars, including the likes of Kevin Sinfield and Sam Tomkins. Away from Rugby League, I’ve experience in the likes of football, cricket and even darts – perhaps underlining my versatility as an all-round sports journalist.

If you’re viewing this site, then you’ll hopefully be interested in my work, and that’s exactly what this site is for. It displays my work which has been published so far and hopefully you can get an insight into the kind of things I write about.

Some of my credits in the world of journalism include:
Rugby Leaguer and League Express Newspaper
Rugby League World
The Football League Paper
Press Association
The Sun
About.com

I’ve also a book in publication, called Football’s Ultimate Miscellany, which is available for purchase from Amazon online.

There’s full categorization of all my credits in the drop down box on the right, whilst my more prominent works can be found at the top also.

On this site, you can see everything I’ve had published. If you are interested in me writing for your publication you can contact me several ways:
